pigeon toe ceramics

Our newest slipcast piece is a porcelain version of a lovely vintage (1956) Pharmacy bottle with a gloss glaze inside (shown in clear). The unglazed exterior showcases the unusual graphic of the Mexican coat of arms, often used to symbolize the triumph of good over evil, along with the words ‘Los Angeles Pharmacal Co, Los Angeles, Cal”. Perfect for a small gathering of flowers or simply to adorn a shelf.

{piegontoeceramics.com} I love that the interior can be a color. What a fun little detail. OH and they have an etsy site as well {etsy.com} and they are from Portland. I swear that city is filled to the brim with talented artists and visionaries.

vintage finds

I work in Stillwater, Minnesota considered to be the birthplace of Minnesota. There are many antique shops on the old streets. Here are a few shots from my visits.
