Evolve

{thedieline.com} I recently saw this packaging at Sears. It very nicely set itself apart from all the other packaging. I delighted to learn that it was designed by "Design Guys" in Minneapolis.

Package design for Evolv, a mid-tier tool brand for Sears by Minneapolis-based Design Guys. Check it out below.

"The previous entry level brand in the stores was called Companion. Companion was a line of low quality, cheap imported hand tools. Evolv was created to raise the bar on entry-level tools with better overall quality and durability and superior ergonomics. Evolv was created to appeal to today’s DIY handyman/handywoman. The corrugated packaging is a response to an internal initiative to eliminate PVC clamshells. We designed the packaging so that it was recyclable and could be easily produced by packaging vendors anywhere on the planet."
