At our house this weekend, we didn't get around to grocery shopping in a timely manner. So Saturday night I resorted to pancakes and sausage for dinner. When I was a little kid, my grandpa Stanley would make smiley faces on our pancakes. I have attempted to do this before with my kids, but I was never that pleased with my results.So this weekend I had an idea--use one of the MANY left-over medicine syringes from the kids to draw the pancake batter on the pan. PRESTO! So easy. You know what, you could even use food coloring for the stuff you draw with. Maybe next time I will try that. . .
