starbucks : moon festival

{everythinghapa.com}
The Mid-Autumn Festival, or also referred to as the Moon Festival is the popular East Asian celebration marking the end of the summer harvest. Such as Thanksgiving celebrated in Western Culture, the Moon Festival is an occasion to give thanks for the bounty of the land. Available this year for the Mid-Autumn Festival, Starbucks is offering their limited edition mooncake sets. There are two sets to choose from: a two-piece flap-lid box set or a four-piece premium set with exclusive Starbucks Chinese tea cups.

I am about a third Chinese and I love moon cakes. I had no idea that Starbucks made products around this festival. I think they look delicious and the packaging detail are quite nice. To learn more about the moon festival click here.
