{target.com} Target is partnering with celebrated designer Gaby Basora to create the next limited-edition collection for GO International®, an innovative program designed to provide affordable fashion created by world-renowned designers. Known for silk-printed blouses and dresses, not specific to any age, style or state of mind, Tucker is a favorite of fashionistas with a youthful spirit and lifestyle. Basora will launch the exclusive Tucker for Target collection on Target.com/go and at most Target stores nationwide on September 12, 2010. The collection of women's apparel, including tops, bottoms, dresses, outerwear and knitwear, will be available through October 17, 2010.

With the intention to create something easy and beautiful for her busy and versatile lifestyle, Basora designed the original “Tucker blouse” for herself in the summer of 2005, made from silk with a button down front and shirred neckline. Everywhere Basora went women stopped her, friends and strangers alike commented on her blouse, and at that moment Tucker was born. Within months, Barneys New York placed its first order for Tucker by Gaby Basora. In five short years, Basora has gained international recognition for her Tucker collection, now a full line incorporating dresses, coats and lingerie; it is now found in more than 200 retail locations worldwide, including Barneys New York, Harvey Nichols and Bloomingdale’s as well as boutiques around the world.
