modern geisha

I have a masquerade work party coming up soon. I am doing a modern Geisha/Vintage Chinese Calendar girl. My hubby is going to be the Monkey king.

Here are my mood boards.. I found an inexpensive mandarin Cheongsam dress online and made a floral headdress. I am still tweaking the makeup and experimenting with some "mask" ideas. More to come next week.
