So I am running in the 5K Color Run a week from today. I attempted to do the C25K app. The app is great, just like having a tiny coach in your phone. However, I somehow thought the training was only 6 weeks. It is 8 weeks of training. So I am crunching training sessions this last week. Yes, I know... terrible plan. Yes, it is only a 5K but I don't want to sound like a huffy St Bernard next to fellow runners. All of my kids want to do the run as well. Maybe next year, after I have done it once and we have all trained officially.
If all goes well maybe I can branch out to more 5K and maybe the Hal Higdon plan. One foot in front of the other.
